Since the Sam's vs Mack's got such a huge response i'll throw this out. Who has the best fudge? Laura's or Douglass?

Alright, asking me to chose between Mack's and Sam's is one thing, but this is pure blasphemy.
Honestly, I have no favorite between Laura's and Douglass. I tend to stop by the Douglass shop on the Boards in the summer more often, but only because you can order from Laura's year-round.
Laura's is for when you are in the "Doo Wop" mood. Douglass, when you have more of a "Classic" Wildwood mindset.
Also really enjoy the Fudge Kitchen also, along with Mallin's on the Boards in North Wildwood and Hankins, on Pacific Ave. near Maple.

Douglass....hands down....theres the same old lady working there from when i was a kid Definitely... and don't forget that awesome plaid rug and dark wood paneling as well! Laura's has Douglass beat on the outside, but Douglass wins for interior value. I don't think the inside has changed a bit in decades.

Yes, its nice just to go into douglass to cool off after walking on the boards on a hot night. The molasses paddles are also quite good

For me there is no place like Laura's Fudge. Nothing compares! Although we always stop there on the way home so it's depressing going in there.

I love Douglass because its one of the only places that NEVER changes! And in Wildwood lately, that really means something special. The people are all very friendly and the fudge is to die for. I guess its what you're brought up on though.
