That's not right!! Let me know how the taste test come out; if there's any left!!! There wasn't much fudge left for either of us but we both enjoyed the Fudge Kitchen more than Laura's so i guess it's Fudge Kitchen for us!

Well this is the web address : www.douglassfudge.com : but it doesn't appear to be working. If memory serves me correctly, Douglass Fudge is only open until mid-October so get your chocolate goodies and fudge now!

i tried the website. You get to the home page and nothing happens. Maybe their website is under construction. Seems to me that they did not have a website before.

The year that we drove out in October we bought alot of our candy from Douglass half off because they close down. If you are going to try to order something I would call soon.

You need to stock up. They are not open year round. They still operate like a ma/pa shop, which is what we like in Wildwood

When we drove down in october, thank goodness it was a weekend. Sam's was open until maybe 5. Gateway was opened but they will close down early depending on the crowds, a few of the stores were open but were selling pretty much everything half off. It is really strange to walk the boardwalk with nothing opened. But, I have to say, it is still a thrill to be there and it always will be. No where else is there a place like wildwood.

Douglass boards up the front of the store in the off-season.

I don't want to go off the topic here but does the Strand shut down in the winter also?
