Yeah, macks is either your favorite, or you hate it! that has been that way for as long as I can remember. People are used to pizzas with mozzerella chesse that is less greasy.

For a lot of older Wildwood people, among the the best cheesesteaks found on the island USED to actually be prepared and sold at the famed Gizmo - located across the stree from where the old Andrews Station was. I even recall hearing the old jingle and ad for teh Gizmo on the radio down there as a small boy!
Today the old site of the Gizmo is now the site of Mr. Ds.

[glow=maroon,2,300]Bill's Corner Deli is another great sandwich place (cheese steaks, hoagies, ect). The side orders are good two and they give you enough. The prices are great. Stay away from the pizza! Bill’s is on the corner of Glenwood and Park Blvd.[/glow] [glow=red,2,300]AC[/glow]

Mack’s pizza is like grease and cheese on a cracker. As for Sam’s Pizza I wish they would just put more sauce. When it comes down to it I’m a Sam’s Pizza guy. Besides a $1.75 for a plain slice of Mack's is a bit much. However, I will eat either pizza if someone else is buying.

In my opinion there really isnt any great pizza on the boards. Its all substandard if best. No taste or quality.

For a good sit down meal when on the boardwalk I like the Hot Spotz. I am especially fond of their Veal Parm, served with spagetti. Very filling with great sauce.

No offense, but "sauce" (regardless if it actually has meat in it anymore) is usually called "gravy" down here in and around Wildwood. Anyway, I enjoy the Hot Spot too at times - though not for sitdown food. Just the smells alone coming from the place make me hungry even when I'm not!

For Pizza Mack's is my favorite, don't know if i've ever tried sam's. Also 3 Brothers pizza and Sicilian Pizza in NWW are both good places on the boardwalk. Another place that has slices for $.99 is pretty good but I forget the name. Anyone know if Mack's has good cheesesteaks? Or anywhere on the boardwalk?
Auntie Anne's can hit the spot too, but I think they charge too much for pretzels. Boardwalk fries are good. It's kind of hard to get food on Pacific Ave because I remember all the meters having a 15 minute time limit, I don't know if it's still like that.
