ok, didn't say I didn't LIKE Mack's. I'll admit it. I love it. There used to be 4 Macks on the boardwalk. Was doing some work in probably the most expensive condo complex in WW this summer and the owner ordered out for pizza. MACK'S.

Thanks for catching me on that, dolfinmusic.
Sam's definitely used to be open year-round on the weekends, but it sounds like they have modified that.
At any rate, I will double-check with the owners and post their exact closing and season-opening dates for 2006.

The guy actually has a microphone, and he literally rants to people passing by on the Boardwalk. He goes on and on about his 99 cent pizza, but it's kind of funny that most people pass right by and go to Mack's. I have nothing against this guy or his establishment, as I've never tried his pizza. I just think his act is kind of funny.

There are a couple places like that. I know that Snow White boasts 99 cent pizza---however I do not think I would eat anything at Snow White. You got to stick to the best on the boardwalk--Mack's---or Sam's

Snow Whites pizza jumped to $1.49. Last year the dogs/burgers leaped from 55 to 99. The platters went way up also, and the breakfasts. We never ate there anyway, perhaps a grilled dog w. kraut. Olympic Flame has a good breakfast special. The Hot Spot on the north end of the arcade bldg. (Oak Ave.) has big portions and not bad pizza according to my office. Sam's usually was open till Thanksgiving and re-opened when it "got milder".

I'll agree with that. There used to be a place on Sportland way back that was good. Big crinkle-cut crisp Idahos. 65 Cents for what a $6.00 size is now. Have our wages increased 10 fold in 20 yrs. ? They've only doubled. So who is buying all these condos?

Wow Snow White price gauging now!! They must have raised their prices to attract the condo people who will spend the higher dollars!! We always eat at the Hot Spot at least once during or trips to WW. There is something about a big Philly Cheese Steak at midnight after hitting the rides and playing the games that makes the night. Of course washing that sandwich down with a Khor Brothers cone for the walk back!
