I was at Hershey Park, PA, during Easter Weekend on April Friday 14, Saturday 15, & Sunday 16 (I was busy, would have posted sooner). They had many of their rides open (no water rides except for Tidal Force). Not many changes to the park except for Reeses Extreme Cup (Opens May 5) which I am not shore what it is all about. Admission was $19.95 for Adults, $14.95 for Juniors & Seniors. Also, They have gone all out to make Accomidations for the Disabled to ride & participate. Chocolate World made improvements (Singing Cows). Hershey's regular Season Starts on Saturday, May 6 with a Grand opening. Thanks, "D.J. Andy"

I have not been to Hershey Park in about 2 years. My son is going soon on his class trip to the Chocolate World and I think the zoo, not the park though. Maybe I can sneak my way in as a chaperone. ;D

I have not been up to hershey in like 2 years (Park visit and Kiss concert. Those old turds still put on a great show) I know that the free choclate tour did a complete renovation for this year. they spent like 4 million dollars on it. I heard about the singing cows! Yes the tour is still free can you believe it? Well they dump you out into there gifts shops but you still dont have to spend if you dont want to. Hershey is real nice. They keep expanding just about every year. Robert should go up there and check out the new dark ride.

I spend a lot of time in Hershey, but it's usually to cover hockey games (speaking of which, man, do I ever miss the old Hersheypark Arena for playoff hockey this time of year...).
Anyway, I've got to get up there in the summer to check out the park... it's been at least 5 years now since I've done so...
Great, old institution though. I'm so glad to hear that they are continually pumping money into it, try to make improvements on a consistent basis.
(And DAMN -- this thread has somehow managed to re-lodge that "Christmas in Her-shey!" jingle that plays incessently around the holidays into my head! Nooooooooooooooo!)

Hersheypark has great hospitality and the cleanliness is outstanding. We go every year. Just went last week and as usual it exceeded our expectations. Also visited the AACA Museum out on Rt. 39 about 5 minutes from the park.. Great for the classic car lover. For those who are not familiar AACA(Antique Automobile Club of America) A great organization.

Great for the classic car lover. For those who are not familiar AACA(Antique Automobile Club of America) A great organization. Well worth it. Go right now and the American Muscle Cars are on display. Great cars!! The stories that go along with them are very interesting. Also, have work stations set up for kids as they go thru the museum. Very innovative of them. Also, check out the bus display and get this an indoor diner right from a property from Kansas set up in the museum.

Hershey Park is really nice but what I don't like about these places are the crowds. All these big parks get way too crowded for me.
