Better watch it, he might come over! Or he would at least pleasure himself to the pics.

I would love to hear who has surviving props from the Castle, and Anita's room sounds interesting. I would love to dress up my enclosed patio as "Castle Dracula" using that haunted castle wallpaper and props like the Dracula portrait and scare the neighbors on trick or treat night. I had a haunted house in my patio several years ago but I just used black garbage bags taped together from the ceiling to the floor to form a maze and battery operated props and other props and scary music/sounds playing from a tape or CD. One year we got quite a few people through and toward the end some kids almost wrecked things and tore part of a wall down. Oh, Anita, I saw your pic in the castle in the coffin at dark in the park. You had really long hair. I'm sure if you looked hard enough you could sort of find halloween props to create your own Castle Dracula like room like what's on those websites. Or something like this www.vickis-world.de/html/dracula_s_castle_interior.html

Robert, You don't have any props of your own from Castle Dracula?

Really, Robert. Of all people, you would think that you'd have something from the Castle. Not that this is really related, but I only have one momento myself. And it really has nothing to do with the Castle, but with the fire that claimed it. My wife (then girlfriend) and I headed down to Wildwood to survey the scene the weekend after the fire. Yet another instance where I really wish I would have thought to take a camera with me. Anyway, as we approached the Cedar Ave. area of the Boardwalk on a very overcast, chilly Saturday afternoon, we actually noticed a small gathering of people near the fire site. As it turned out, some stupid kid actually bypassed the temporary fencing and jumped down into the pit, which once was the area where the Castle's front game was (actually, it was still partially standing at that time). The kid was tossing up stuffed dolls that came from one of the neighboring game stands that was also damaged beyond repair from the fire. My girlfriend wound up with three charred Kermit the Frog dolls. She cleaned two of them up, and they still look good as new. The third on still sports some black charring and, to this day, smells of burnt wood and ash. Still rather silly, but neat little momentos, regardless.

I bet the bodies of those trouble-makers are still under your front porch covered with lime.

I don't know about lines being crossed but I am having a good laugh here. This "teasing" is hilarious! Sorry for saying so.

I don't think the 'teasing' would be so funny if it were aimed at you...

I don't think the 'teasing' would be so funny if it were aimed at you... I've taken some teasing on this board, and I've dealt with it. You need to be able to take a little when you give a little. As for Robert, I'm not too worried about him. He seems to have thick skin.

Just out of curiosity Nance, when was your last trip to Wildwood?

No matter what comes his way he continues on as if he hasn't read the posts. I always get a chuckle out of you, Crip.

No offense to Robert, of course, but unless a given post contains the words "Hunt's," "Pier," "Golden," "Nugget," "Castle," or "Dracula," I honestly don't think he bothers to read them. I've posed a number of questions to him in the past, and I think he's responded, maybe, to a grand total of one or two of them. But, whatever... it's what makes Robert... Robert! ;D
