I am a Mack's girl all the way. After the concert we stopped at Mack's and it was so good!! As for at home - the town we live in now I have yet to find a really good pizza place. But when I lived at home (30minutes from my house) there were several pizza places and we were partial to Turano's.

I had sams today and I am sorry to say it was horrible! I have never got a bad pie at macks! Sams has always been good but today it was really bad. There was no cheese on it at all and it was covered in flour and was under cooked. I will post a picture of it soon. Sorry to hear that Sam's was bad but that picture looks darn good to me! I love Sam's and here in Philly - Pizza City (on Frankford Ave) is my fave!

Well I just passed Sam's on my way to Mack's, both places were packed. The entire Boardwalk was, lots of families, great to see. Mike I'm sorry Sam's let you down, I know you know your pizza. Otherwise hope you a great time?

Mack's is ok...but the best pizza in the world is Pizza Hut stuffed crust. No question about it...THE BEST. I love to eat it backwards. ;D

Around where I live, I would say Lodi Pizza and Pizza Town (a little up the road on Route 46) are the best. Mack's and Sam's would be competitive. I don't know that I could say that any of these is a whole lot better than the other, even though they're all different. It'd probably depend more on my mood...

I thought Sam's was better. I didn't care for Mack's that much but, as the saying goes, pizza is like sex, even if it's bad, it's still pretty good.
Oh yea....best pizza is at a place on Bleeker St in the village (NYC)---Coal fired oven...excellent!

Tonys?? We live down the street from them.. Not as good as macks but good none the less:) Tony's is better than what I can get in my area but closer to get to than Wildwood. Renzi's in the Burg is pretty good too!

They forgot to put cheese about 4 inches to the edge and it was really thin and caked in flour and very under cooked. They must have been having a bad day. It was packed in there. bummer, I hate when the crust encroaches on the sauce and cheese like this. major uncool.

Mack's is better than 90% of the pizza I've had in NYC, I think--at least, the places where you can buy a slice. NYC has a number of high-and-mighty coal-oven pizza joints where you can only buy whole pies and I haven't been to one of those in years. I've always been a Mack's fan and had never been to Sam's. On Saturday and Sunday I treated myself to two consecutive nights of Sam's-vs.-Mack's pizza testing. ;D I think they have some dingdongs working in both Mack's locations currently and execution was subpar this past weekend, but still the Mack's recipe was the clear winner both nights. Sam's was more typically Americanized pizza, way too much like eating Wonder Bread with ketchup Maybe I caught the same bad spell Mike did at Sam's. They certainly were busy, perhaps too busy and rushing pies out. Like Mike, I thought my pizza would have been better if baked longer.

Try some Mikes Brick Oven Pizza In Pottstown Pa. Here is my upside down pizza. We call this Mikes Boardwalk Pizza. We put the cheese down 1st. Then give it a couple of rounds of sauce, Then the cheese again! Here it is....

Mike, did you ever think of selling it frozen, maybe even in Supermarkets?
